RECORD UPDATE!! Tour Update.

Uncategorized No Comments »

It has been awhile since I posted an update on anything.  We finished up the recording in Amarillo Texas a few weeks ago and now its on to mastering and manufacturing.  We made it.  I started the whole thing off with the flu and halfway n it turned into a sinus infection.  Fortunately the sinus infection landed on the day I started vocals…….(sarcasm) the new record will actually be called “COMPARED TO YOU” after one of the tracks.

The record sounds really live and open and I dig it lots.  Good things! Good things! Working with Kevin was fun and definitely an honor.  I am hoping to have everything out by the start of the fall.

ALSO it loks like I will be hitting the road with John Reuben again.  Only this time I will be opening up solo.  Look for that tour to happen in August. Followed by as many dates with the band as we can get; playing songs from the new album, hanging out with folks and just worshipping.

Montauk Monster Pic and recording.

We leave in one week. I am super excited for working with Kevin. It will be a completely new experience for me. But one that I think will be more than rewarding. We are shooting for 8-10 songs and tracking for the most part all live. Recently a good friend and great guitar player Time Torgerson joined the recording band. Check out his site here: www.myspace.com/timtorgerson

So the recording lineup will be myself, Tony(drums), Phil(bass), Jacy(BGV’s) and Tim(guitars). I am looking forward to what Kevin pulls out of us in the studio.

Live @ the Wilma Theater - ‘TONITE’

Music, Videos No Comments »

Check out “TONITE”, a new song played at the Wilma theater in Missoula, MT.  The song’s deals with the thought that people are all the same, despite the skin color or geography. Despite the circumstances one grew up in,  people’s hearts want the same things no matter what time you live in or what level of material possesion’s you live with…..the soul needs something………  ‘We are all here, we are all still alive.’ So where do we go from here?

STAY - Live at The Wilma Theater

Music, Uncategorized, Videos No Comments »

Behind the song “STAY (Don’t Leave)” is the idea of a broken relationship where one person has betrayed the other yet the person betrayed still asks the other to stay.  I recorded the song in my home studio as a demo and I got such a good response that I decided to make it available for anyone who would want it.  It hits ITUNES in less than two weeks…….  Stay tuned for the release!

RECORDING - At the Risk of Being Broken

Uncategorized No Comments »

Lately I have been staying up until 3-4 am working in my writing studio. I have written 17 songs to choose from for the upcoming album. I am tentatively calling the album “At the Risk of Being Broken”. I am actually very excited about each of the songs that I have written. The songs that don’t make the album will make it onto a future project I am sure……..hopefully you like them too.
